Tsampikos Fronas aka June est un dj/producteur originaire de l’île de Rhodes en Grèce mais résidant actuellement à Berlin. En 2010 il lance son label éponyme pour sortir son premier EP June 01. Quelques semaines plus tard il signe un morceau sur le fameux label de Jamal Moss Mathematics Recordings aux côtés de Stabil Elite, Noleian Reusse et du français Violence FM sur la mini-compilation Music From Mathematics Vol.6. En 2011 c’est l’heure du premier album Cytheria sorti sur le label allemand These Days dont le sampler en maxi, très recherché désormais, contient deux remixes du révéré DJ Sprinkles. Un an plus tard il réalise un EP incluant un remix du déjà prometteur Simoncino pour Cosmic Club, le sous-label de Skylax du parisien Hardrock Striker. Trois autres maxis suivent alors sur son propre label, le dernier The Human Target sortant il y a à peine trois mois de ça en septembre. Un LP est en prévision sur l’excellent label de Solvent Suction Records et devrait voir le jour fin janvier, début février. Tenez-vous le pour dit, June est un artiste à surveiller de près, il commence à multiplier les dates de qualités à Berlin que ce soit en Live ou en dj set où il excelle également comme vous aurez l’occasion de le constater à travers ce mix exclusif explosif qu’il nous a concocté!
Tsampikos Fronas aka June is a Berlin based dj/producer born in the early-mid 80’s and originally hailing from Rhodes, Greece. He’s devoted to the use of the pre-MIDI analogue interface of synthesisers , drum machines and sequencers for the creation of electronic music since may 2010 when he launches his own eponymous label to release his first EP. A few weeks later his track Sea Of Stars is featured alongside Stabil Elite, Noleian Reusse or french artist Violence FM on the mini-compilation Music From Mathematics Vol.6 on Jamal Moss imprint. In 2011 he makes his first album Cytheria released on german label These Days whose sampler containing two remixes by revered DJ Sprinkles is now really sought after. One year after he makes an EP, featuring a Simoncino remix for Cosmic Club, Hardrock Striker‘s Skylax sublabel. Three other 12″s follow on his own label, the latest being The Human Target released three month ago in september. A forthcoming LP will follow to be released in junuary for the excellent Suction Records owned by Solvent.
